Hello, community!
The three-month journey of the UNIHIKER AIoT Innovation Challenge has come to an exciting conclusion! We are beyond thrilled to reveal the winners and highlight the remarkable projects that made this contest truly inspiring.
Choosing just three winners from so many creative and innovative submissions was no easy task. But after much deliberation, we’re excited to present the top three AIoT projects built on UNIHIKER! Join us in congratulating these talented creators:
UNICON- UNIHIKER based portable home automation controller with wireless charging
Creator: Padmalaya Rawal
UNICON is a portable, rechargeable home automation controller that manages appliances across multiple rooms simultaneously. It helps you stay smart and focused in a distracting world, allowing you to control and monitor devices in your home, office, or workshop with just a touch. This project successfully implements a home terminal and features a wireless charging battery, enhancing its functionality and convenience.
Enhiker | A Portable Smart Weather Decision Maker
Creator: Mukesh Sankhla
Enhiker is a compact, 3D-printed device designed to assist outdoor enthusiasts in making informed decisions about their environment. Powered by UNIHIKER, it integrates environmental and GNSS sensors to assess real-time weather conditions and location data. Enhiker provides users with a clear recommendation on whether it's safe to set up camp or continue outdoor activities based on health and safety parameters.
UNIHIKER:Ai-Smart Electronics Recognition
Creator: Yakroo108
This project explores how artificial intelligence enhances electronic component identification in factory settings. It highlights AI integration for component recognition, intelligent imaging for precise lead detection, and how this technology streamlines manufacturing while reducing errors. The UNIHIKER serves as a powerful platform for AI algorithms, making it ideal for industrial applications. This project is suited for electronics engineers, factory automation specialists, and anyone interested in the intersection of AI and electronics.
In addition to our top three winners, we also want to recognize five other exceptional projects that stood out for their creativity, effort, and innovative spirit. These projects demonstrated great potential and impressed us with their thoughtful use of UNIHIKER.
This project uses UNIHIKER to remotely control an omnidirectional Mecanum wheel robot car and utilizes ChatGPT’s image generation to help create a display interface. It is simple but practical, with room for future improvements, such as adding sensor data to the remote control or using a camera on the robot to capture and display photos.
This project recreates a vintage-style camera by building a unique wooden case for UNIHIKER. It uses the ESP32-S3 Sense to capture images, while the UNIHIKER handles displaying, saving, and showing the photos. Simple yet creative, this project combines modern technology with a classic design for a nostalgic feel.
This project creates a device that tracks distance traveled and calories burned during bike rides without GPS. It also measures time, speed, and heart rate to monitor health. The device is portable, easy to remove from the bike, and can double as a pedometer for running. The DualSport Tracker combines two sports into one versatile device, with UNIHIKER as its brain.
This project introduces a smart home terminal using UNIHIKER to manage IoT devices efficiently. It centralizes control, allowing users to monitor sensor data from different rooms and control appliances throughout the home. By integrating UNIHIKER with ESP32 modules, the project offers a scalable and versatile solution for home automation.
Machine Medic is an AI-powered solution that uses sound analysis to detect machine anomalies and predict failures, helping industries prevent costly downtime. It leverages the UNIHIKER's built-in microphone and display to train and run small models for real-time audio classification. With its practical value and handheld detection capability, this project offers a complete demonstration of predictive maintenance, providing a novel way to keep machines running smoothly.
Beginning October 29, we will contact the all winners by email. Please keep an eye on your inbox and respond quickly to claim your prizes. Thank you for your enthusiastic participation in UNIHIKER AIoT Innovation Challenge!
