In January 2026, the global education technology event BETT UK took place at London’s ExCeL Centre. As one of the key education brands under DFRobot, UNIHIKER joined the exhibition and present a range of interactive AI learning solutions built around HUSKYLENS 2, with UNIHIKER K10 and M10 serving as intuitive learning and feedback platforms.

From Recognition to Understanding: AI Learning in Practice at BETT 2026
At BETT 2026, UNIHIKER and HuskyLens 2 presented multiple hands-on projects based on custom-trained AI models developed using Mind+, grounded in realistic learning scenarios. Spanning from primary to secondary education, these projects help learners intuitively understand how AI works and how it connects to the real world, and are especially well suited for project-based learning (PBL).
Detailed project articles will be released gradually in DFRobot Community, so educators and learners can explore, replicate, and build upon these projects.

Project 1 🐱 Animal Recognition · Smart Feeder for Stray Cats and Dogs
📥 HUSKYLENS 2 + UNIHIKER K10 | Custom Model Deployment
This project connects AI vision with a familiar real-life scenario. Using a custom-trained animal recognition model, HUSKYLENS 2 distinguishes between different animals, while UNIHIKER K10 provides clear visual feedback and system responses—simulating the logic of a smart feeding system.
✅ Recommended for: Primary to Lower Secondary learners

Project 2 🌙 Night Vision Module · Wildlife Observation
📥 HUSKYLENS 2 + UNIHIKER K10 | Custom Model Deployment
This project demonstrates how AI vision can work beyond normal lighting conditions. By combining HUSKYLENS 2 with a night vision lens and infrared illumination, animals can be detected even in low-light or dark environments. UNIHIKER K10 synchronously displays recognition results, making AI decisions easy to observe and understand.
✅ Disciplines: Biology|Environmental Science|Technology Applications

Project 3 🔬 Microscope Module · Cell Recognition
📥 HUSKYLENS 2 + UNIHIKER K10 | Custom Model Deployment
This project brings AI directly into the biology classroom. With a microscope lens and a self-trained model, HUSKYLENS 2 recognizes real cell samples in real time. UNIHIKER K10 displays recognition results and feedback, helping learners clearly see how AI interprets scientific data.
✅ Disciplines: AI & Biology

Project 4 🌸 Instance Segmentation · Digital Flower Art
📥 HUSKYLENS 2 + UNIHIKER M10 | Custom Model Deployment
Designed for more advanced learners, this project explores AI beyond recognition—into and creativity. Using HUSKYLENS 2’s instance segmentation model, flowers are detected and segmented individually. With UNIHIKER M10 and Python programming, the segmented elements are transformed into a digital flower arrangement displayed on the M10 screen. This project demonstrates how AI vision can support artistic expression and creative computing, not just technical tasks.
✅ Disciplines: AI & Art & Programming

What BETT 2026 Reveals About UNIHIKER’s Educational Vision
At BETT 2026, UNIHIKER focused not on features, but on learning experience. Through hands-on, real-world projects, students can clearly see how AI works, how it makes decisions, and how it connects to real-life applications.
